Guostė Marija
Ringelytė

Artist, currently studying for a masters degree in sculpture at the Vilnius Academy of Arts. In her creative practice, Guostė tackles the problems of materiality, vulnerability, disappearance, fragility, hybridity, and autonomy of materials. The artist mostly works with organic, sustainable, unstable materials and larger scale sculptures. In her work, Guostė is interested in how one can interact with space, reflect on its history, what experiences it causes, and how space can reflect a person’s inner transformations and states.
