Architektūros fondas’ Experiments’ Platform creates opportunities for creatives in architecture and related fields to develop their ideas and practices with the help of experienced mentors.
From scientific precision to artistic persuasiveness, Experiments’ Platform broadens the boundaries of the discipline of architecture to include and apply practices and methods of different disciplines. The aim of the programme is to develop opportunities for a fundamental rethink of traditional or unexplored architectural fields. In these processes, mentors help participants develop, and search for individual research and spatial practices. Platform participants are invited to engage in community processes, participate in discussions, share their experiences, and collectively discuss experiments and the progress of all Platform participants.
Since 2021, the Experiments Platform has been led and curated by architect Augusta Fišerytė.
From 2022 to 2023, the Experiments’ Platform was led and curated by architect Gabrielė Černiavskaja. In 2023, she was joined by an alumna of the Experiments’ Platform, anthropologist, cultural and social project manager Gabrielė Janilionytė.
In 2024, the Experiments’ Platform was led by one of its co-founders, Martynas Germanavičius, and curated by Vilius Vaitiekūnas, a creator and educator of various cultural activities and formats.
The fifth season of the Platform in 2025 is led by Artūras Čertovas, Aistė Gaidilionytė and Kamilė Vasiliauskaitė.
