Simona Gaigalaitė is an architect and the founder of the architecture studio ‘Inout’. Gaigalaitė holds a BA in architecture from Vilnius Gediminas Technical University. Her professional practice primarily involves the design of public spaces and landscape architecture.
Participating in the Experiment Platform, S. Gaigalaitė aims to develop and explore a strategy for revitalising public spaces that combines traditional Lithuanian wooden architecture with the culture of Parisian pavilions. By combining these architectural phenomena, the main idea is to create vibrant, inclusive spaces in Lithuania that respect cultural heritage and at the same time embrace contemporary architectural trends, promote cultural change within the local community, and improve city life.
